Drones are the center of Mine a Planet. A drone placed on a Dock Platform automatically mines ore from your planet. You collect that ore, sell it for Cash, and reinvest the money into more rolls, more dock space, better output, and upgraded equipment.
Active play runs alongside that production loop. The Laser Pistol can mine and attack targets, the Jetpack helps with movement and airborne event resources, and Drone Kit slots let recalled drones follow you. Captured Pets or Aliens, mutations, batteries, and Index rewards all feed back into faster progression.
Each step creates the resources or bonuses needed for the next phase of expansion.

Drones are the main production units. Buy a drone from the roll machine, place it on a Dock Platform, and it will mine ore from your planet. Recall a drone when you want to move it to another role or slot.
Drones mine automatically, but active play still matters. You collect and sell ore, use the Laser Pistol, catch Aliens, and take part in events. Auto Collect and Auto Sell are separate paid features.
Batteries are temporary boosts for a selected Dock. They do not recharge a drone energy bar. The boost strength and duration depend on the battery used.
No. Pets, also shown as Aliens in parts of the game, are captured support units that provide passive effects. Drone Kit slots use your drones as followers that help during active play.
